Zeolite is known to remove heavy metals from the body, but many people are not aware that it can actually pull radiation out too. Zeolite was first used for this purpose in the 1970s during the Three-Mile Island disaster. Tons of zeolite were dumped into the ground surrounding the reactors in order to stop the radiation from leaking into the environment any further.  Years following this, zeolite was used once again to absorb radiation at Chernobyl. It was mixed in food and fed to victims of the nuclear meltdown to absorb the large amounts of radiation in their bodies. Most recently it was used during Japan’s Fukushima nuclear meltdown.  Giant bags of zeolite were dropped into the sea surrounding the nuclear reactors to soak up as much radiation as possible.

Everyday Radiation Exposure

You may think that incidents like the ones listed above are rare and do not really pose a threat to us on an everyday level. But this is not true! We are exposed to radiation every single day of our lives through various sources. And once inside the body, radiation does not leave so easily.  It becomes lodged within cells. Being highly unstable, it destroys and mutates surrounding molecules, which eventually deteriorates your body, creating cancer and breaking down bodily functions.

Radioactive Fallout

One of the many ways we are exposed to radiation is through radioactive fallout. Fallout might seem like an unfounded fear because nuclear accidents occur on rare occasion and nuclear bombs are rarely ever detonated. But people do not realize that radioactive fallout from a nuclear disaster and bomb testing can be detected for decades.  Radioactive fallout can spread worldwide by winds, and rain down into the air we breathe, the water we drink, and find its way into the food we eat. Over 26 years later, Germany is still dealing with radioactive effects leftover from the Chernobyl accident and has to have their wild boar tested for radiation before it can be sold as food.

Power Plant Steam

Radioactive particles from power plants is spread by winds and rains down into our air, food, and water.

Radioactive material doesn’t only come from nuclear disasters and bombs, but also from steam created by nuclear power plants. Although the amount of radiation found in this steam is pretty low, it is still spread by winds and ends up in our air, food, and water. Even if you live hundreds of miles away from a nuclear power plant, you are still being exposed to this radioactivity!

Radon

Radon is another common type of radiation that many of us are exposed to on a daily basis. It is a natural gas that rises out of the ground and can seep into your home. Radon is dangerous because you cannot see it, feel it, or smell it. About 50% of all radiation exposure is from radon, and it is the second leading cause of lung cancer. People could live in a home for decades and never know that they are being exposed to deadly radon.

Uranium

Uranium soil concentrations in US. Uranium is often found in our drinking water.

Uranium is naturally found in the ground, and thus shows up often in our water supplies.  Even water that has been filtered and treated still contains traces of uranium.  Another way uranium can show up in our water supply if from radioactive fallout raining down into our reservoirs.

X-Rays

X-rays are a type of ionizing radiation that penetrate tissues and bone. Much of this radiation is absorbed into the body.

X-rays taken of any part of our bodies threaten our lives with further radiation exposure. X-rays are a form of ionizing electromagnetic radiation, which create an image by passing a beam of radiation through tissues and bones. This form of x-ray machines produces radiation which is capable of removing electrons from atoms, causing damage to DNA and cell mutation. These unstable atoms are known as free-radicals, which cause further damage to surrounding cells.

Zeolite Can Help!

The mineral zeolite can detox your body by pulling radiation and free radicals out of cells. Radiation becomes trapped within zeolite’s porous structure, and cannot escape. The zeolite is not metabolized by your body for energy, and therefore, it isn’t broken down but rather travels throughout your entire body, picking up toxins along the way. Six to 8 hours after being ingested, almost all of the zeolite will leave the body, and will also carry out any toxic materials, such as radioactive particles, that it picked up.

If radiation has already caused some damage to our cells by stealing electrons and creating unstable free radicals, zeolite can amazingly absorb these free radicals and carry them out of the body so they pose no threat to neighboring healthy atoms and cells.

For the purest, most potent zeolite, please visit ZEO Health.  They are the original manufacturers of zeolite health supplements and only use clinoptilolite that is mined specifically for human consumption. Try Zeolite Pure for the most economical zeolite product. The 1 pound container consists of about 90 servings. To detox from radiation and free radicals, use 1 scoop twice a day (about 8 hours apart) for at least 90 days. Zeolite has no adverse effects when used for an indefinite period of time, so always take a daily dose to maintain your detox after the initial 90 day detox period.
